McMullen Returns to Affinity Health Services as Executive VP of Consulting/Business Development

Affinity Health Services, Inc. – a senior health care management consulting company – has hired Candace McMullen as Executive Vice President of Consulting and Business Development. She had served as Affinity’s VP of Operations from 2008-2014 and was a Nursing Consultant from 2004-2007.

She is an industry leader and a resource with the proven ability to customize consulting services to meet the needs of clients. Her knowledge of the company is going to put us in a position where she can have an immediate impact with our current clients.”

Ms. McMullen takes the helm for sales and marketing of Affinity Health Services as well as expansion of the consulting services line of business. She brings with her experience in operations, consulting, clinical and regulatory management of continuing care retirement communities (CCRC), skilled nursing facilities, personal care homes, assisted living, independent living and home health.

She most recently served as VP of Operations for a non-profit organization and oversaw five CCRCs located in Pennsylvania and Maryland, caring for more than 2,000 residents with an annual operating budget in excess of $130M.

“This is a new position,” said Ms. McQuown-Hatter. “We have added to our company expertise and will offer our services to a broader market area. Now is the right time and Candace is the right person. I couldn’t be happier that we can continue to add extraordinary value during these most difficult times.”

Ms. McMullen’s degrees from Pennsylvania State University include a BS in Nursing and a Master of Health Administration. She holds certifications as a Registered Nurse, Nursing Home Administrator, Certified Legal Nurse Consultant and Certified Nursing Director Long Term Care.

Ms. McMullen currently serves as Executive Director/Board Chair of the Pennsylvania Directors of Nursing Association and recently finished tenure as Secretary of the LeadingAge MD board.  She is also a member of the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, American Nurses Association and National Association of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants.

Affinity Health Services Inc. is a senior consulting and managing company specializing in administration services for senior living communities. Affinity focuses on facility-level staff hiring as well as corporate and in-house training services for management and other members. In addition, Affinity provides services such as data collection, coaching supervision, nursing documentation assessment, and recruitment and retention strategy planning.
