Affinity Leaders Present at PADONA Conference
Several members of Affinity’s leadership and clinical teams recently presented at the 38th Annual Pennsylvania Association of Directors of Nursing Administration (PADONA) Conference at The Hotel Hershey in Hershey, PA. About 450 long-term care nursing professionals attend this conference every year to hear respected industry experts discuss current trends and share their knowledge and expertise. Attendees earn continuing education credits and have the opportunity to visit over 80 vendor exhibits at the conference.
On Tuesday, Affinity EVP of Consulting and Business Development and PADONA President and CEO Candace McMullen opened the conference with welcoming remarks, and VP of Business Development and Consulting Tammy-Lucas Coleman, Senior Clinical Consultant Michele Conner and Clinical Consultant Becky Meyer presented Foundations for Success: Building the Core Systems Every Nursing Home Needs.
Also on Tuesday, Affinity Director of Marketing and Census Development Mary Grattan presented guidance for senior care leaders on how to deliver exceptional customer service using empathy, clear communication and problem solving. Later in the week, McMullen and Affinity President and CEO Denise McQuown-Hatter presented The Business of Nursing: The Art of Good Financial Stewardship in Your Day-to-Day Decision-Making. In addition to Affinity, the conference featured presenters from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Pennsylvania Healthcare Association, Pennsylvania Department of Health, Penn State College of Medicine, and more.
