Affinity Health Services’ Vice President of Clinical Reimbursement Tammy Coleman received American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing (AAPACN) certification for Train the Trainer for MDS Section GG in May 2021.
AAPACN’s Section GG Train-the-Trainer certificate program provides on-going training to direct care staff to accurately report or document the resident’s performance in the 24 different section GG self-care and mobility activities.
AAPACN represents more than 15,000 post-acute care nurses and professionals working in more than 5,175 facilities. Dedicated to supporting these healthcare professionals in providing quality care, AAPACN provides innovative education programs to benefit any career stage—from nursing assistants and individuals new to the MDS coordinator or DNS role to seasoned veterans seeking best practices. AAPACN programs keep professionals up to date with the fast-changing complexities of post-acute care regulations.
